The Embassy of the Islamic Eemirate of Afghanistan in Bishkek issues Road-Pass Permits for the vehicles registered in Kyrgyz Republic for transporting commodities to Afghanistan, for one month validity (single entry) permission and three-month (multiple entry) permission. The drivers of these vehicles are issued with one month (single entry) and three-month (multiple entry) visa, according to the vehicle Road Pass Permits.
Applicants must request for an appointment.
Road Pass Application Form – fully completed in written and duly signed. Visa application form can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.
A Letter of Guaranty from the company owning/leasing the vehicle detailing the particulars of the vehicle and the relevant driver, and a copy of the company’s license must be submitted to the embassy.
Copy of the vehicle’s registration (both sides), copy of the driver’s passport (with at least 6 month validity) and driving license must be submitted with the completed application form to the embassy.
Two (3×4 cm) size photos, affixed to the appropriate box on the application form (photos must be identical, recent, color on white background, taken directly of the face and show both ears). See Full Photo Requirements in the box on the right side.
A copy of the Driver’s Kyrgyz Permanent Residence Card/Identity Card and any other documents verifying the applicants current address in Kyrgyzstan, such as utility bills, municipal papers, etc.
A fee of USD 150 is payable to the embassy for a one-month Road Pass Permit.
